New British study on How Long Does It Take to Get COVID-19

The length of time you spend around a person with COVID-19 seems to heavily influence your likelihood of getting sick, according to a recent Nature study that has been peer-reviewed but not fully edited. Most exposures that result in transmission last at least an hour, if not much longer, the researchers say.

Bivalent vaccines help prevent COVID-related stroke, heart attack in older adults--study

Bivalent (two-strain) COVID-19 vaccines help protect against COVID-19–related thromboembolic events, including strokes, embolisms, and heart attacks, more so than monovalent (one-strain) vaccines, according to a study today in Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report.
